Literacy Night March 19th 5:30 to 6:30pm

You are welcome to Woodrow's "Bloom Into Reading" Literacy Night.

Thursday, March 19th from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.

Enjoy fun activities like: shopping the Book Fair, talking to a local author, ROTEC displays, Appalachian Vibes Radio Show, refreshments, prize drawings, and so much more!

2026 Reading makes cents challenge

With the Reading Challenge, learn financial literacy!

Reading Makes Cents empowers K–8 students in Virginia to explore money-smart habits through stories.

This free statewide reading program uses books to teach smart money habits, notably saving for long-term goals like an education.

Read books with themes such as: choices, value, and saving for the future.

Woodrow Wilson will be holding a Graphic Novel Contest. 

Create your own Graphic Novel with the chance of having it published!

Rules are on the Media Center's Canvas, in the Library, or below.
